The event is a career and hiring event for high school seniors where they can interview for part-and-full-time jobs with different businesses and industries. Due to COVID-19, we will continue to have WOW 2.0 as a virtual event. West Alabama Works will be partnering with area businesses and industries to allow connections with potential workers with the goal of filling the more than 3,200 high growth, high demand jobs available in West Alabama. This event will be an excellent opportunity for students to interview with employers actively hiring for entry-level positions. The registration deadline is Wednesday, March 24, 2021. April 1st and 2nd Interview Day – we will discuss more information at the upcoming WOW 2.0 Educator’s meeting. Please be on the lookout for more information, including prep materials and a list of participating companies and the next steps for the students to be sent at a later date.
